(Real imaginative title, right?)

This is my entry for Nikkeh09's challenge. When I picked up Rurouni Kenshin back in the ninth grade I thought it was gonna be dull historical fiction. Oh, stupid, stupid past self. I found out pretty quick I was wrong about that, and RuKen became my all-time favorite manga (and still is!). I consider it one of the best comics ever made, and the art just blows me away. Like, Nobuhiro Wakatsuki is probably the single biggest influence on my art style.
The lineart was drawn with a gel pen and a Sharpie. Kenshin was colored with colored pencil, and the background was done with Sharpie and watercolors.
