Materials: iPad, iPad drawing app, Photoshop to clean art up and enhance colors

First off please excuse the lame ass title. It was all I could come up with....^^;

What can I say about this one. First off I just wanted to try to make a more detailed picture than my previous upload. Truth is my dad ordered me an Ash costume (still waiting for it in the mail) and I'm probably going to dress up as Ash to help pass out candy for Trick or Treators this weekend. So that will be fun.

To be honest I had a few different concepts before I arrived at what you see now. I guess I had an idea to try to do different little chibi scences with me and Ruri but I scrapped that because it just didn't work and couldn't quite translate the idea from imagination to ipad drawing app so yeah....moving on.....

I'm not really sure what the most challenging thing would be while drawing this on my ipad. I guess having to redraw some of the lines to make them stand out again. I think the most challenging thing coloring here was Ruri's long raven purpleish hair. But I like how it turned out to be honest. When I do these kind of digitalish works, I try to draw hair in a similar color to what I am going to be coloring it. Same thing with my characters, started drawing them in grey tones until I got a feel for what I wanted. I think I erased the hands and redrew em at least 3 times. Yeah that was hard. All together I think I spend a little over 2 hours on this. Just wanted to try to produce a quality art.

I went with the Halloween theme since Halloween is basically this weekend. So of course I'm in front dressed as Ash (again hoping my RL costume comes soon in the mail) and Ruri is dressed as none other than Belle. To be honest I went through a couple different options before I settled on Belle's dress. Loved trying to capture that iconic Yellow dress she wears in the ballroom scene. Absolutely love that scene and that dress is just so beautiful. Especially loved it when she descended down the stairs. Just loved that scene and that dress. It looked like it glowed. Hopefully one day I will be lucky enough to cosplay Belle in real life too. Hey at least I can dream.

Please forgive me as this is only my second time of drawing a female couple. Probably will draw more of them in the future off and on. Well I drew myself in Ash's Black and White outfit. I drew/colored it to the best of my ability, same goes for Ruri and Belle's dress. Just thought it fit her personality, one of these days I will do an actually drawing of all the Bracelet girls dressed up as Disney Princesses. Would you guys actually like to see me try to recreate the ballroom scene with these two in the drawing? I'm thinking about it.
