Border + Snow texture

This is my entry for the "Winter Outfit Cuties" fanart challenge. Originally I was going to do this traditional but I decided to draw it on my iPad. Well it's been awhile since I did kind of a digital drawing so I did one. Anyway I will explain the piece.

The concept is simple, a cute couple walking in the snow, wearing cuteish winter coats, and sharing a giant red scarf. That's what I tried to convey here anyway. This took me some work to do, especially having to constantly redraw the lineart and trying to make the colors look as good as I could possibly get them.

What I did in Photoshop was kind of recolor the eyes a little bit, tried to clean up the art as a whole, and give the overall art a more wintery look with a snow texture. I thought that all worked out fine.

I drew/colored Ruri with a pink coat that I tried to base off of this picture of a really cute coat I found on Google. And my animeself's coat is based on the coat I have in real life which is actually more of a darker grey. But anyway overall like how it turned out overall.

I may do a traditional version of this picture at some point. I did my best on this. It isn't perfect but I worked hard on it nonetheless.
