This is my entry for the Language of Flowers challenge. I spent a lot of time trying to decide what I wanted to do for this challenge, it was definitely tough! I eventually went with roses. A little cliched, maybe, but I like roses :)
Anyway, everybody knows roses are romantic, but different color roses have different meanings. Yellow roses mean friendship, and yellow roses with red edges mean falling in love. Red roses mean love and courage, and burgundy roses mean undying love. What I was trying to convey with the drawing is that Zelda and Jak have been friends for a long time, and Zelda is slowly realizing that she's falling in love with Jak, and that Jak has loved her for a long time, not really expecting her to return it.
