I participated in Mer-may!! I'm uploading this a bit late, heh. I decided I’d wanna be an alligator gar! They’re huge, from Louisiana, have spots that reminded me of my freckles, and they loooove meat. Their top row of sharp teeth has two rows, I think. They’re pretty badass.

In this AU my territory would be somewhere deep in a bald cypress swamp (flooded extra maybe bc of a hurricane) and I’d make friends with some of the local fishermen, haha.

It was so much harder than I though it’d be to edit a picture to give it murky underwater effects.. I hope I did well enough for my first try??? I’m still not totally happy with the effects. v happy with the design of the mersona though. Gave myself a halter top made of spanish moss, hehe. <3
