After installing the AC and popping some Advil to help with tonsillitis, we have a simple portrait of my OC Naomi! A friend of mine had noticed that some of my characters kinda looked the same awhile back, which was kind of a blow to the ego lol But it helps push me toward getting better. So I really focused on giving her her own smile and eyes. Although when I do that she seems older for some reason lol Also thought her eyes were a little on the warm side of hazel, but looking back at other sketches it's always been that way... So I guess my subconscious won out. Using actual people as a base for design helps add unique features too; although I've used so many people to tweak her look over the years I think I lost count on how many people I've actually used :P Decided to just leave the background the colour of the paper I used, just looked natural.
