I’ll be a day early with this, only because I feel like tomorrow I’m going to tune out and not want to post.
This is part of my daily doodles, it was drawn toward the beginning of June. It’s Eddie, I finally got to do a proper drawing of him! I like this drawing better than the portrait I did before.
Out of all my daily doodles, this one has been my favorite so far. I actually went back a few times to rework it after I had finished. I’m glad I did, because I feel like I was able to push the values.
I tried a technique used by Groovy Boar, who uses color pencil on top of marker and it looks so nice on her work! I still need some practice, but I really adore how the color pencil helps highlight/shadow some parts.
