This week my OC Ken was the subject of a line art and layer experiment. My digital line art is pretty terrible, but I need the practice :P I usually scan in a sketch, and make line adjustments by either drawing new lines or thinning out the originals. This process is very time consuming, so I've decided to just go over it digitally to make things crisper and save me some time doing flat colours too. This way I can simply bucket fill and do flats in minutes instead of an hour lol That I can focus at getting better at painting too! This turned out OK, my lines are a little too thick and lack character... But that'll come with time.
