So JelloApocalypse put out an announcement on Facebook that he was looking for an artist for his StiB Rick and Morty episode. That episode released several days ago. I actually finished this earlier this month, but I wanted to wait until I was sure if I was chosen or not. Since I wasn't, I can submit this now.

I had a small bit of backstory on how this came about. Basically Rick's taking Morty on yet another adventure to some unknown planet (to most anyway) where he's trying to harvest a rather phallic looking plant called a Wagglethwap. Just one of these plants can convert all carbon dioxide and harmful gasses into fresh oxygen in a polluted city in a day. And they spread fairly easily, secreting spore out of the top and flailing wildly to make sure they get all over (lol XD) They also help make the lands around them more fertile. You could plant one in the desert and 5 square miles around it would become a rainforest in a month. But the real reason Rick wants one is because the byproduct of processing gasses creates a fermented sap that is the most delicious, most rich alcoholic product in the universe. Wagglethwaps are pretty valuable to a lot of different people for different reasons, but of course, Rick just wants the booze. Morty tries to explain that bringing the Wagglethwaps back could probably eliminate greenhouse gasses and other harmful substances causing global warming, but Rick goes into a spiel about how bringing Wagglethwaps back would essentially just cause a massive World war to possess them. (NO ONE CAN KNOW!)

The monster (I forgot what I wanted to call it, so let's call it a Pllaabpt) expels A LOT of noxious fumes, so it's essentially feeding the Wagglethwaps. It also drinks the sap, so it's like a symbiotic relationship. Of course, it smells something new in Rick's beer, so it wants a taste. Rick's about to vaporize it XD;

It would've been nice to get the job for the episode, but the person who did get it crushed it. The episode looks amazing. I just kinda wish someone would've let me know I wasn't chosen rather than seeing the episode released and finding out that way =( A rejection letter does people more good than silence.

I was going to add more texture to the Wagglethwaps, but I only had a limited amount of time to get it done and submitted, so I left them smooth XD (OMG, I can't... XD)
