I just thought about: what if mermaids exist and they tell tales like we do to avoid getting in contact with humans. Or maybe humans are distinct due to their studip behaviour and to teach the young merfolk, they tell about them? something like this. Since i like the lineart and fear ruining it i shared it beforehand+
