I want to work with unified color palettes more this year. I loved the concept of Huevember, but I hate how it’s in the same season as Inktober and all the holiday stress. So I’m going to move that challenge to the month of February! Febhueary just sounds better anyway, IMO.

Normally, you’re supposed to draw one picture a day in a different hue, but I definitely don’t have time for that. So I’ve decided to do one for every week of February.

Febhueary piece #1 (red violet, red, scarlet)

I took a lot of steps outside my comfort zone with the process of making this piece! Tried a less controlled painting style. Kinda an impressionistic approach. Definitely disliked how little control I had.....
