I drew this pic based on DA's dis-colour role play, and I thought it fit the theme of AnBu's challenge perfectly.

Sharing the cold winter months with family and friends makes them feel much warmer. So, this pic features a warm-fuzzies moment for two who are close like family. Charlie views Khalil as her "little brother," and Khalil has a closer relationship with her than with his flesh-and-blood family.

Inspired by this piece, my brain refused to work on the story that I was trying to write at the time and instead decided it wanted to write lyrics. So, this came along with it:

Safe Haven (Family)

Too hurt and too scared for words to tell,
Got trapped in the "shelter" I'd built myself

You barged in and tore down all the walls
