it's here! October has arrived! I was looking forward to this month because the creative juices of the artists all over the world are at the highest level and throughout the month I will see beautiful art from all the super talented people I follow on social media! I cannot wait!
I will do what I can. but I really hope I can complete Vintagetober! I have decided that I will use my beautiful toned paper, as white paper is boring, and a newly purchased sepia ink. Since I've never used ink before I wanted to do a little test. I literally drew the first three things that came to mind. An octopus, a skull and a pineapple. At this point I am afraid I have become too predictable.
I start off, with everything ready, my palette with diluted inks, brushes ... when I have an epiphany.
The ink is liquid. the ink is WET. And I don't have paper that keeps the wet mediums. And I've already done a lot of the sketches on this type of paper!
well, I'm stupid.
However the paper holds the wet enough without crumbling, at least it is of good quality. here i used at least six layers waiting for it to dry .. so.... i should be able to make it (?)
how I would like to have some colorful watercolor paper. Does it even exists? watercolor tan toned paper?
