Today's OCtober challenge is "An OC with a disability". Veelia is Aileev's twin sister, and the soft spoken one of the pair. When they were toddlers, their neighborhood was assaulted with a nasty bout of the Creeping Horror (a childhood illness of their world). It's known to kill very young children, and when Veelia caught it, she barely made it out alive. Eventually she did beat the disease, but it took her eyesight in the process.
