Day 29: With a Disability

This is Xuriah from The Last Descendant of Dahlia! She is a blind ancient being known as a Dream Guardian. She only dwells in the dream realm and aids lucid dreamers like Dahlia and her descendants. I will also refrain from revealing too much of her significance.

In the original story(Tsumetai Hi), the dream guardian was a beast named Shiro(bottom). When I began rewriting, I didn't like the arc that contained Shiro so I scrapped the dream guardian altogether. However, last year during Magical March, I created a design for the prompt "Dreams" and I fell in love with her design. I decided to make her an official character and replace Shiro as Dream Guardian as well as make a better plot for her. I think we can all agree this is a great upgrade ;)
