The farther we get into the 2020s, the more surreal it feels...
I can basically sum up 2021 as a decent year art-wise. I didn't do a lot of experimenting this year, but I did practice things like posing/anatomy, hands and clothes/wrinkles. I also did a lot of design work for my new story, "Pet Projects." I also played around some with 100%-digital art and a new program (ProCreate) but didn't have enough improvement there to share much of it.
January: Florette, Soleil
February: Design/expression work for Tristan (Pet Projects). He's another adopted OC that this story creates a home for.
March: Asahi Azumane, Haikyuu!!
April: Killua Zoldyck, Hunter x Hunter
May: Kousei Arima, Your Lie in April
June: Nikkou, Keyholders' Legacy (Eternal Rain universe) (c) me
July: Reka, Eternal Rain (c) me
August: Ray Kon, Beyblade
September: Calumon & Guilmon, Digimon
October: Revisited an old, random OC named Yuko Chiyama during this year's OCtober art challenge.
November: Discovered lots more webtoons this year. This is fanart of Yunni from AstralSounds.
December: Practiced coloring in ProCreate with a winter pic of my roleplay character, Khalil Evans. This was also a nice perspective/foreshortening practice.
