I started drawing this picture while the second season of Yashahime was airing. I was going through Shippo withdrawal because he only made an appearance in the first episode of season 1, never to be seen again.

Or so I thought.

Just after I had finished inking what I thought post-time-skip Shippo would look like, he made his appearance midway through season 2... only to realize that his appearance hadn't changed. You think the guy would grow a little in 20-ish years.

This picture was mostly self-indulgence. I wanted to draw Moroha too, because I like her, and I thought that if she and Shippo actually interacted, they would become good friends.
