I read this prompt and thought, "Animal Bend? What's that? You turn somebody into an animal? You turn an animal character into a person? You change a cat into a dog?" I might not have gotten this one right.... Anyway, this is my dog, IRL, morphed into a Sonic style character. Hope that counts!

Roxie the Dog lives on a farm with her brother Rosko, her adoptive parents (a fox and an otter), Grandma Fox, and a substantial community of chickens. She loves running, splashing in puddles, and exploring in the woods, she usually has a bag of beef jerky on hand, and she is always on the lookout for her arch enemy, Jack the Squirrel (and his numerous friends and relations).
