I ran a poll on my Ask!Tellius Tumblr blog, asking what alternative types of laguz people would have liked to see in-game, and now that the poll is over, I've been drawing concepts for the different ideas. The Tumblr folks had a lot of good ideas and it's been fun to draw them! So here's one of the concepts that tied for first place in the poll, Rute the Tiger Shark Laguz.

Rute hails from the kingdom of Piscora, a chain of tiny islands that weave around Phoenicis and Kilvas. Her school of shark and fish laguz plague the merchant and military ships in the seas south of Begnion. While the Phoenician hawks are the "sky pirates", the sharks are lurking below!
