Quick sketch I felt like doing of a younger Sanoj, training under his aunt Ushka. I didn't have his spotting reference handy, so he's only got them on his face, which is what I remember well. But anyway.

Sanoj's father died when he was eleven, and he was too young to take over as commander in his place, so Ushka, begrudgingly, stepped in until he was old enough - and strong enough - to do so. She was a tough trainer and pushed him as hard as she could, since she didn't want the job in the first place and hoped to get out again quickly. He ended up becoming a very formidable fighter in just a few years! (And Ushka could finally retire.)

Thought about entering this in nikkeh09's challenge, since I'm pretty fond of Sanoj, but it's a bit of a rough sketch and I'd like to put a little more effort into my entry(ies).
