Here is my entry for the New Year Hopes Challenge!

My New Year wish is to not have to go to the hospital anymore. I have been in and out of doctor offices and the hospital since my stroke in May of 2023. I have developed epilepsy that we are still trying to control of due to the stroke. I actually almost went a year free of seizures last year until November 1st. That day, I had three very dangerous tonic clonic (grand mal) seizures back to back to back and woke up in the ICU intubated. Luckily, I had a focal seizure signal me that I was having a seizure before going into the first tonic clonic, so I wasn't alone. I am hoping to get it under control and NO MORE HOSPITALS. Here's to hoping!
