Well, I hurried to get this done before the deadline, or the site goes down! I’ve had terrible luck in entering challenges this year. XD
Anyways, I tried to draw Remi in the style of Rumiko Takahashi. Her style is pretty retro and Inuyasha the manga was published in the 90's, so I hope that counts? The anime came out in the 2000s though.
I referenced her artwork, mainly Shampoo from Ranma ½ and Kagome from Inuyasha. Rumiko’s art inspired me a lot as a kid. I think in my older drawings you can kind of see the influence. I know I can see it in some art I have never posted.
Other influences I had were Sailor Moon, Dragonball Z and Yu-Yu Hakuho. There was one more, but that artist is dead to me, if you know, you know.

I gave this drawing a bit of a pink tint, because in the older Sailor Moon anime it has a pink tint and I thought it looked cute. I tried to make this look like a screen shot. XD
