Haha. I've always thought about that "hey if M comes before N then why is Near better than Mello?" And then there was "Well its pretty obvious why L comes before M and N. But since M and N are too letters no wonder when Mello and Near work together they are better than Lawliet." The last thought makes sense. THe first one is the biggest Death Note question of them all.
Though I think Mello also beat Near at having girly hair. Hmm.. maybe he doesn't wanna acknowledge that fact.
