well 2 years after genki and holly defeated ruby knight in the finally episode genki now 16 years old and holly 18 have been training to beat most. when the comet crashed [in monster rancher ds] it reawakened a dark force. now holly's pendant stone is pointing to a dark phoenix they have to destroy b4 it's completely reborn. meanwhile genki has a strange dream about a girl with pointed ears, and 2 different color eyes fighting moo. This time they will fight as a team for the first time ever with all the game characters^^
