This is basically going to be a one shot, I don't intend to stretch this out...

History of the Battle of Nanking/Nanjing:

After the Japanese capture of Shanghai on October 9, 1937, and ended with the fall of the capital city of Nanking on December 13, 1937 to Japanese troops, a few days after the Republic of China Government had evacuated the city and relocated to Wuhan. The Nanking Massacre followed the fall of the city.

The story takes place within Nanjing a few weeks after the Japanese took claim of the city; Following ex National Revolutionary Army of China Lieutenant Zhang Shu as he and a band of past NRA and civilians hold off Japanese troops within the city.

Outside of the city focuses on Jiang Chao, the daughter of a government official who also fled to Wuhan after the city fell. She and Zhang Shu were friends; and hopes one day to see him again.

Other stories may focus on Japanese troops and civilians of Nanjing, but I haven't gotten that far...so, here's the cover...It's pretty terrible.
