Day seven is my very first D&D character, that I used in my very first campaign (The rise of Tiamat) that I was able to join after moving in Bologna. She's a Half-elf warlock, Pact of the Blade. To be honest I wouldn't ever played a warlock as my first character, but the master wanted a caster and gave me a wizard/sorcerer/warlock fan of choice and being quite new to the game I chose the latest seeming a little easier to play. What I didn't know is that the master had already a plan for my poor Kaya. She had so much potential to be a good character, but in the campaign she only served as the damsel in distress. the master made me found and forced to keep a black dragon egg (with the rest of the party hating me for all the troubles I gave when trying to hide it) but when it hatched the dragon escaped immediately, showing up by time to time to save my sorry arse deus ex machina and just being a little bitch (yes that dragon was a real mysoginist towards its own mother) I couldn't summon my sword, part of my Eldritch Invocations were blocked and I coudn't even regain spells with my short rest. All of this because to absolutely no one surprise my patron was Tiamat herself that she wanted me to suffer..? I practically was the master NPC.
So I could be a bad ass warlock riding a friggin black dragon and annihilating my enemies, but instead I was a bundle a misery and Eldritch Blast, always in danger to be rescued by the party. heh. ᴵ ᵏⁱⁿᵈᵃ ʰᵃᵗᵉ ʷᵃʳˡᵒᶜᵏˢ.
I still like Kaya, she did her best, I'm happy to have drawn her one last time, with the sword and the dragon she deserved.
