I wanted to put this one up a long time ago. It's Ray's second encounter with Basil. I tell ya, his first impressions aren't going very well. Ray's not really an idiot, he just gets over excited about vampire hunting. So much he tends to act without fully thinking things through. Neways, experimented with backgrounds a bit. And shading. Ray's hair didn't really come out right, but I'd contribute that to the wig and the fact that I drew him with long ears. That kinda messed me up there. I like the fourth panel a lot, but man do I fail at weapons. The dagger/stake thing and gun...well, I was always bad with guns but the dagger/stake (cuz it looks more like a dagger than a stake to me)...bleh. And I really don't blame Basil for spazzing. I mean, when a guy who goes around calling you his minion all the sudden starts refering to you as his best friend you know there's something wrong. And zomgosh hidden ad! And so sorry for some of the words being cut off. I have a small scanner so it couldn't be helped.
