I wish the deep aching pain in my soul would disappear.
The blackness is swallowing me whole, this i greatly fear.
I try so hard to fight my emotions back, to show no weakness.
I toss and i turn in the dark i created, the night leaves me sleepless.
My body ready to give up, my heart oozing with the red liquid of life.
My seemingly endless life, filled with nothing but the feeling of strife.
Time has slowed almost dead to a stop, I'm almost certain nothing will change.
It's all about to end the shadows beckon my name, the weapon is in close range.

A ray of light shone through the emptiness that had surrounded me.
The blinding bright light burned my eyes, almost impossible to see.
The hope i so desperately prayed for has finally come here.
Like a graceful butterfly flying closer and closer, it's near.
My mind has thawed of the cold, slowly in time healing and warm like the sun
Like the path of life twisting and turning my journey has been and done.

I now look on the world i see before me, a new life a rising chance
A new vision in front of me, to the left and to the right i slowly glance.
Leaping into the pale sky the wind rushes through my hair, incredible.
My life long pains are now after a seeming eternity finally amendable.
