Hinata was scared and felt like nervous wreck lately. Sasuke had been sick in the hospital and she tried to visit any day possible that Sakura and Ino where, which they were there everyday possible.

She remembered how Sakura once pulled her aside one day, and threatened Hinata,

“I need to talk to you,” Sakura hissed at the chunin exams before entering the forest of death.

“Y-yes?” Hinata mumbled, concentrated on Naruto’s flamboyant dance and giggled thinking how much he looked like a dork.

“In private,” Sakura said harshly, dragging Hinata by the coat.

“S-Sakura, wha-?” She could only make out before Sakura smacked Hinata’s face.

“I’ve seen you eyeing Sasuke!” She yelled, grabbing Hinata by the collar.

“P-please, it is a m-misunderstanding,” Hinata sobbed, with her check stinging.

“Oh please,” Sakura lolled her eyes at the truth.

“It is!” Hinata squealed as Sakura tightened the grip around her neck.

“Then why are you always around him?” Sakura growled, and glared down at Hinata. “He is mine.”

“He d-doesn’t belong to a-anyone,” Hinata whimpered.

“Yes he does!” Sakura hollered, and readying her hand to give another smack to Hinata’s face. “He’s mine! I’ll have to beat that into you then!”

Hinata closed her eyes’ when a voice shouted out.

“Sakura!”

“Oh!” Sakura giggled, and dropped Hinata’s collar and her hand. “Sasuke!”

“What are you doing to Hinata?” Sasuke inquired, eyeing Hinata’s red check.

“Nothing, nothing, just talking,” Sakura lied, moving closer to Sasuke.

“Go back to Naruto,” Sasuke glowered, pushing Sakura away.

“It’s always Naruto this, Naruto that,” Sakura muttered to herself as she walked away, and glared one last time at Hinata before leaving.

“Are you okay?” Sasuke asked, moving closer to Hinata suddenly, and his voice become much softer. “Did she hurt you?”

“N-no, I mean,” Hinata whispered before crying out. “Won’t you get in trouble if you’re around me?!”

Sasuke became silent. Hinata’s whimpering sobs became louder as she turned away. She stifled a gasp when a hand touched her shoulder.

“I don’t care if I get in trouble,” Sasuke whispered, turning Hinata around. “If it means being with you, then yes.”

“I…. you…. I mean,” Hinata stumbled blushing uncontrollably.

“No more words, Hinata,” Sasuke hushed, and grabbing her chin gently placing his thumb under her lip. “’Lemme give you some good luck.”

“Sasuke?!” Hinata blurted, confused, but Sasuke crushed his lips against Hinata’s. It was long, and Sasuke’s breathe lingered up Hinata’s nose and she tingled.

“Hinata!” A voice yelled.

Sasuke backed away, looking deep into Hinata’s eyes, a pleading like look, and he whispered ‘goodbye’. And stormed away.

“Sasuke,” Kiba greeted.

“Kiba,” Sasuke replied.

“Hinata?” Kiba called to her as she rushed over. “He, you? Exams. Now? Explain?”

“Long story,” Hinata giggled.

Hinata giggled herself as she thought of the memory. Then, for some strange reason she wanted to take a walk.
