It was on the DVR schedule, but it didn't actually air. The slot was occupied with what I'm guessing is the usual stuff, which kinda disappointed me but not so much because I've seen the movie and it's good, but not really up to par with the rest of the show. Yakuza!Robin was pretty badass, though.
But yeah, if they do decide it's not too late to uncancel it, I'm thinking Teen Titans deserves it way more than Family Guy did.
Actually, they had a two hour marathon of Titans earlier today, which I would assume means it still brings in ratings. They're probably starting to regret canceling it in the first place.
are you serious??!! i can't wait to see if all of Toonami comes back! i miss alll of those shows! It sux that they canceled it! now they have all those stupid shows except maybe Teen Titans that only comes on for like...a half an hour each day!! *RAWR*
This is at least a sign of change and an opportunity of possible progress. If the current schedule sticks as is we could look forward to the reruns of The Teen Titans, Justice League Unlimited, and Batman brave and the bold, it may not fill the void but it is quality animation and storytelling.
Does anyone else feel that they are pushing for more "home grown" shows rather than imported tittles?
Edit: I believe that CN may be trying to do a demographic dragnet that will catch a big audience. Justice League and Teen Titans will get teens and young (at heart) adults, while Bakugan and the Saturday thingy sweep the younger children.

T.T *sniff* man...you just chocked up a whole bunch of memories...*sigh*
anyways, on this note, I suppose I could be more optimistic but with as stupid as CN has been, I can't help but be skeptical. honestly I think that Toonami probably failed because they STOPPED PLAYING ANIME.
Seriously, what were they thinking? What is the word "toonami" a play off of? "Tsunami" a Japanese word, hmm, maybe they should have stuck with playing Japanese shows?
I pretty much done with CN, they've gone so far down the toilet, and not just with the anime, with everything else too.
They show it here in the UK, but I'm too sure what day it's on. Up until about a couple of weeks ago, they showed One Piece every night (not sure about Sundays...), but over here, toonami didn't last long as I recall, most anime was shown on a channel called Jetix, which was taken over by Disney XD. They should definitly start showing more anime, no matter what channel it's on.
Bakugan...It's a start... B/ Hrm. At least it's not "Battle B-D-Man" or whatever that crap was...
As long as they don't jump the Disney bandwagon and air dubbed Naruto Shippuden...Way worse than the original. I agree with One Piece. FUNI BROUGHT US JOY, CN GOT MONEY! How could they miss that connection? If they had made it to the Water 7, CP9, or even Thriller Bark arc, the ratings would be through the roof!
Of course that's my prediction. I'm nowhere near a economics expert, but some things are just common sense, don'tchaknow?

Wouldn't it be lovely if this led to them bringing the old Toonami back? You know, the one that was every weekday and actually showed good anime? DBZ, YYH, Tenchi, etc....

Oh, right, Bakugan.
Get back to me when you start airing One Piece or something else that isn't a lazy rehash of every monster battler series ever with none of the charm of any of the originals.
At least they're trying. But if they start showing 1-2 hour blocks of 'Naruto' again, I'm out. And I wish Adult Swim would also fill out their schedule more again. Seriously, how many times have we all seen 'Big O' now?
Hm.. they're waking up. Sad though that it took them a whole year to realize Toonami held them together as far as ratings, but I agree completely with Ace. Of all the other good anime shows they had, why that? Oh well, at least they're moving in the right direction. There's some hope left.

I'm a little disappointed that they chose Bakugan, but I'm glad they're getting an anime back on for Saturdays. Hopefully they'll begin putting more anime on and hopefully they'll be better than Bakugan and shows like it.

Wonder if it's too late to renew....

If they're going to be bringing back shows like Bakugan, is it really a good thing?

And everyone better know that Steven Blum voiced Tom. Otherwise I'm disappointed in you all.

Steven Blum told me this past weekend that there are possibilities of PIECES of Toonami coming back.
But then he was like, "I don't know if I was supposed to say that."

I'll take Bakugan as a start in the right direction. Not the best start for the direction, but it's certainly a start.
