You're right, we'll see. I just don't want it to be another Dead or Alive movie bomb, with only style over substance. But this does look better than Mortal Kombat. That movie was horrendous.
I hope this wont be too bad...
I saw the trailer it seems pretty cool.
I just wanna watch some epic fight scenes with my man, Yoshimitsu
And Paul's hair...Before he put it down. *laughs*
i saw the trailer and well....it looks watchable, hey at least its not as bad as street fighter - the legend of chun li *shudders at the thought of that movie*
Well, seems both theO and the screwattack communities are not hyped up for this movie. :| Personally, I think I have to wait to see it like Stararnold said. Though I will say this, at least the characters LOOK right.
I may not be one of those who ever played "Tekken", but I think people should see the whole movie's plot from start to finish first before making a judgement. I mean, we only saw a trailer of it so far. For all you know, this movie is likely intended to attract both "Tekken" fans and those who never played or heard of "Tekken", becasue lets face it, not everyone is a video game fan/player.
So for know, lets have faith in those filmmakers who worked hard on this.
We don't know, maybe this one will do a little better than the previous video game film adaptations. At least, that's what the news websites are now saying after seeing the trailer.

Not gonna expect much, however there is one thing this movie's doing that maybe gives it a leg up over other game adaptations.
It's a game about a fight tournament. And this is a movie about a fight tournament. This is at least a step in the right direction.
Also, Cung Le is in it. This is exciting.

I have a bad feeling about this.
Movies and video games are not a happy marriage.
