I think that if they try to cram all of Brotherhood into one movie, it'll end up bad. However, if they pull a Conqueror of Shamballa on us, and create a story not told within the series, it will be great. I hope they do the latter.

Regardless of how they do it, I don't think it will be bad because I will admit the movie for the first series to me was pretty good and completed the story line for that series since it left you hanging. As for this one, I think the creators or whom ever will write the story for the movie will do a fine job. Hopefully I don't need a recap, I think following about what happens in Xing afterwards might be interesting or if something happens with Pride since he is the only one that "sort of" remains.

Hmmm, I'm a little skeptical about a movie about Brotherhood. I agree with Ace, isn't Brotherhood a bit too...complex? A side story is the best option but will that be any good? Oh well, hopefully it will be just as good as Brotherhood.
It's likely that the movie will cover the gaps in time from the aftermath of the battle with Father and the three years that gets shaded over after that.

I'm gonna go with a misleading phrasing here, since I have a hard time buying that they would condense sixty four episodes of one of the most complex plots in recent memory into 2 hours mere months after it ended in the first place. Even Gainax waits a couple years before doing that.
My guess is it'll either be a side story that vaguely tries to tie in to the plot somehow or a story about what happens when Ed and Al visit Xing in the epilogue. There was also that multi-month gap between the preparations and the final battle with Father, though.

The first half of the movie will be a recap of the series in 50 minutes. The second half of the movie will be the first half of the new movie in the works until it abruptly stops and leaves you hanging and angry.
No wait, that's a horrible idea. No one in history would be insane enough to do that!

Is this going to be a re-do of the already-existing FMA movie? FMA 2:Electric Boogaloo!

I'm worried that they'll try to shoehorn Conqueror of Shamballa into the manga continuity.

I'M SO EXCITED! I wonder what'll it be about? Ishbalan or Ed and Al's travels to the East and West?
