"It was during this transition that the new Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Phantom files were accessed before their scheduled launch." How much you want to bet that the episodes were on the server so early *because* they were testing out the new system? You'd want to make sure that everything works before putting something live.
And technically speaking, going into the server and getting the episodes would be hacking. A very basic, low difficulty hacking, but hacking nonetheless. I really think it's about time that people get off FUNimation's case about this.
I was under the impression that the one who was uploading the torrents was in Egypt.
Of course, lying to people over the internet isn't necessarily a difficult thing to do.

Nice to see he actually admitted it was their fault instead of trying to keep up the lie about hackers. And hopefully they'll stick to the plans he laid out so that this won't happen again.

I have to agree with Aceburner, at least they figured out NOT to upload their episodes so far ahead of time...

FUNimation will not upload a video file until minutes before the video is expected to go live.
That's all I wanted to hear. About time they figured it out.
