HAha...nice. However I've a bit of mixed-feelings...after all...if your teacher told YOU to play games...would you wanna do it? ROFL...I love gaming too much for it to be something I'm TOLD to do! HAHA
Still...I can see technology going WAY beyond this...this is just the first step. XD
*sigh I wish that video games were used to help learning in our schools but America still views video games as poison to our brains when it actually can help if used correctly.

A third-grader lost his Gameboy? His parents must be poor.
Wait... it's July! Very sneaky Acegamer.
I see the future of gaming going strong thanks to Nintendo actually. Now that some families are playing, the parents are learning that gamers are more than just Galaga and Pac-Man these days. Plus with a lot of gamers now becoming adults and starting families, we could be seeing a new generation of accepting games so the hardcore guys and gals don't have to wait for Jack to croak.
Sometimes I'm tempted to be start a group to promote video games as good. Better yet, I should look into that.

Considering it just says "certain schools," I'm thinking this isn't a very wide-spread thing. It could help some students, yes, but I'm sure this would not be the right choice for everyone.
...but then again, in America, stuff like video games and comics have a bad rep. You can't blame those who don't know any better, but at the same time you have to dislike them for buying into the negative stereotypes so easily.
Another thing that makes being an American suck- people here STILL think that video games are bad!! For the record, I blame Jack Thompson, but that's just me.
Oh my gosh! I love Professor Layton! But that's kinda sad that Americans (in general) have such a negative view of video games as things that "fry our kids brains". They really can be educational if you give them a chance! How else did I learn to drive then through a lifetime of playing Diddy Kong Racing on N64?

I like how the US is the world power but the slowest to pick up on any new wave thing...can see why our society is falling.

That does not stand for Bachelor of Science, by the way.

Good thing! ^_^ We can learn a lot by playing video games. Mario is Missing and Mario's Early Years are good educational games!

He's, uh. In a private school.
And he's there because of a scenario similar to Ouran High School Host Club or something, so his parents don't have to pay tuition.
Yeah, that's it. >_>

In some sense, MMORPGs could teach quite a bit on how to manage your money.
