Not saying this is exactly the best ad campaign ever, but really at this point for Dante's Inferno, no publicity is bad publicity. Personally, I find this kinda hilarious and I'm still definitely curious as to how this game turns out. Sure, it's a total God of War doppelganger, but it's Dante!
Yeah, dude. If you're going to put this much commentary in the nugget, just post it in your World. You're entitled to an opinion, but as a news reporter, you're kind of obligated to keep it to yourself when covering a story. Helps others form their own opinions without bias.

@ChibiSasuke:
You think Dante's Inferno in general is for kids?! Where did you go to school?

It's is a little biased, but that's okay once in a while I think. It's not like we see this kind of news everyday.
As for the contest: what the hell are they teaching kids these days? ._.

You wanna talk about public relations epic fail? This isn't even close to epic fail. Eidos voting for its own games in GOTY events, trying to edit Metacritic scores for its games, and using someone's E3 DEMO review as a 5-star review of the final game . . . now THAT is epic fail.
Dante's Inferno is nowhere near that. Not yet, anyway.
Also, the God of War press party had a butchered goat on the table. Food for thought.

Not that these news blurbs have ever been all that unbiased.
Anyway, I agree that it's a rather disgusting and tasteless method of advertising.

You sir, I believe should really get the same editing treatment the rest of us get. This is not your editorial page, but unbiased news, no matter what kind of an example you get from the television.
Be true, be you and of course, be otaku.

Ummm, dude. Can you say bias much? News is one thing, but I don't feel the need to hear your personal view on it.
I'd rather see in shades of gray.
