I probably should have been more specific with that statement. They sold slightly less on their first weekend than the original games did on their first weekend. It's still a great number, of course, but there's still plenty of time to see how long they can keep the momentum up.

Well, it's not surprising it's Pokemon and arguably the best Pokemon games too. Definitely my personal favorites anyway.
