Chapter 1: Faded memories
"HEY!" a voice asked,"Where were you?! You were gone for 2 weeks!
Ayana turned around and saw Talene,one of her best friends.
"Two.....weeks?"Ayana replied."That's how long i've been gone?"
"Ummmm yeah?"Aniu said,"We were gonna report you missing.."
"I don't remember what happened in the past two weeks,"Ayana mumbled,shaking her head.
Suddenly,the bell rang.It was time for class.
"I guess we should get going...or else we're gonna be late for class,"Aniu said,picking up her back pack.
Following the others,Ayana walked down the hallway.
Prologue:The Lab
It was dark and eerie in the research lab of Meadia Corp, wher test subjects,and expiriments lurk about...in cages and in test tubes. She couldn't believe that she was one of them....Ayana opened her eyes and found herself in a long test tube,submerged in a strange liquid. She didn't know how long she'd been out.The neon lights emmited a lime green,lighting up the lab. A man with a mask concealing his face walked in,tapped the glass,and started to laugh evilly.
"Hello,Ayana,"he said "how was your....slumber?"
"YOU!"she growled,trying to reach her captor. The glass blocked her from striking the man.
"Not to fear,"he said,"My name is Draconis."
"I don't care who you are!Let me out!!!!"
Ayana attempted to strike the glass wall,but it seemed like a force field prevented her from doing so.
"You can shout all you want,but you'll never escape from here."Draconis evilly grinned."There is too much precious power and information for us to be losing.."
"I don't know what you're talking about!"Ayana hissed.
"That's what you say,but who knows what the goddess of blood has to say.."he trailed off.
Draconis exited the lab.Ayana glared at him,then,she shook her head."I have to get out of here,"she thought.
Suddenly, the liquid in the tube began to bubble as if it was boiling. Ayana looked around frantically.A pulse from her pendent made cracks in the tube.Being furious,she punched the weakest spot,and it shattered. The liqiud rushed through the vent-like floor,and Ayana laid onto the floor bare, since whoever captured her placed her into the test tube stripped off her clothes.Ayana slowly got up and her ebony hair turned silver/white,and her eyes dark red." You're welcome..."she muttered through her pendent.Luckliy,she found her undergarments and a kimono/robe. After putting them on,Ayana spotted a window and flew through it,with glass shattering everywhere. As she dropped down from the building,she swore to herself that she would never allow herself to be captured by lowlifes such as Draconis again.
