I was lying by the fire stroking Finny's fur. Yami was cleaning her sword. Suddenly I sat up. Yami glanced up. "What is it?" Finny's ears were twitching. He looked up at me and whined. "He's coming." I ground my teeth. All the snakes in the area were whispering. "He's coming. Our Master. Our MASTER! MASTER LOKI!" I spit on the ground. The fire in the pit spiked up and became a tower of flame. My father stepped out. "Hey kiddos! YaYa-Chan! I haven't seen you in....ever! Come give Grandpa a hug!" Yami turned to look at me. "What do you want here?" He frowned. "That's no way to talk to your daddy." I pulled out my sword Grimstone. His eyes narrowed. "You dare point the very sword I left you at me!" I laughed. "It was the only thing you ever left me. At least it's come in handy." His eyes seemed to glow. "Do not disrespect a God boy. Especially now of all times." The fire spiked again, except this time my sister Hel stepped out. She looked at our father and bowed her head. "Father Loki." He smiled. "I knew you'd show up sooner or later." He looked at Yami. "It's good to see the family sticking together." Then he looked at Finny. "Ah Finny you're here too!" He pet Finny on the head. "Well well this is all good!" Hel smiled at Yami, then tapped Loki on the shoulder. "Father we should get down to business." He sighed. "I guess..." Hel totally ignored me, which is good. I really wasn't in the mood to fight her right now. Loki smiled at me. "Sooo guess what kiddo. According to Odin all half bloods are to be killed!" I cocked an eyebrow. "What?"
