So It Begins

~Tegwen~

I looked up as Huginn landed on my shoulder. "Well Mam it looks like you've caused quite a mess of things." He ruffled his feathers and pecked under his wing. "You're father has decreed that all the halfling children be killed." My eyes narrowed. "He would even kill me?" Huginn nodded. "He believes you will all bring about Ragnarok." I smiled. "He deserves to fall. The way they treat us....I'm not some toy. I'm his daughter. All I ever wanted was for him to notice me! But no. I look around and see all those poor kids. They're lost and wandering around in this stinkin hole! Most of them don't even know what they are!" Huginn nodded. "Aren't you afraid? Odin could kill you instantly." I chuckled. "He probably doesn't even know it's me. He's blind to this world without you and you're brother." Huginn looked sad for a moment as he remembered his brother Muninn. I killed him in order to leave my father blind to my plans. "Besides...Gods never get their own hands dirty....he'll hide behind some poor misguided fool....or some kind of beast." I saw Ivy coming towards me then. She had a water jug with her. "Here you go Gwen-Chan. We just got some fresh water." I smiled and gratefully took the container from her. Ivy was one of the first kids I'd taken in. All forgotten by their God parent and left all alone. Ivy herself had been mistreated for her elfish looks she got from her father Freyr. She was like a little sister to me. "So Gwen-Chan how many more can you feel?" I smiled and closed my eyes. "There are quiet a few...d*mn...looks like the Gods are moving. I can feel a couple....Loki..." I spit his name like it was poison. "And his daughter Hel...they are with their children....and the Son of Tyr is close by as well." I opened my eyes and looked around. "In fact...I think he was watching us." I looked up and saw a black dot moving away. "He's made his choice."

~Koudou~

I sat on Shinri's back and watched the camp of halfgods. "That's them Lord Koudou. The ones your father warned you about." I nodded. "They're the cause of all this fuss....d*mn. I agree that most of the Gods abandon their children, but creating a war between us and the Gods is pointless." Shinri nodded. "Those kids need guided....not led into a slaughter like she plans to do." I was watching the leader of this little group. While she was a beautiful woman and from her looks a skilled warrior, her judgment is clouded. "She doesn't care as long as she gets what she wants." With that I had Shinri turn around and we left them there. "I will not become part of such a massacre."

~Ryuu~

I was still glaring at my father. "So what do you want?" He smiled. "Why do you always think I want something?" I sighed. "Because you're you...." He laughed. "Fair enough. Truth is kiddo...Odin has decreed it open season on all of you halfbloods. He thinks you'll bring about Ragnarok." I saw a glint in my father's eyes as he looked at me. "But I know that he's just too full of worry in his old age. His mind's leaving him....and the fact that he's blind to what's going on down here." He shook his head. "Anyway...there is a group of halfgods that want to wage war with Asgard. Odin fears that all of you will eventually join together." My eyes narrowed. "Well don't you deserve it? There are few Gods that I care about, and you are not one of them." His eyes started glowing, and he raised his hand. "DON'T TALK TO ME WITH SUCH DISRESPECT! REMEMBER WHO IS LETTING YOU LIVE!" I glared defiently into his eyes, which only made him more angry. Then Hel grabbed his hand. "Father...we must remember to forgive Ryuu's ignorance. I do believe he gets it from you." Loki smiled at that. And his mood was instantly happy again. "Right...so. You two can join them if you want. I don't mind killing you. Or you can start meeting up with other halfgods and make your own army to protect us." I spit at his feet. "The only one I want to protect is Fricka!" Hel sighed. "Gee I love you too you little pain in the a*s." Then she pulled Yami away to talk to her. Loki was watching me. "You're just like me. I know what Odin fears, but then again the one to truely bring about Ragnarok will be me." He pat my head. "With the help of my children of course." I slapped his hand away. "I hate you!" He laughed. "I know...and that's why you'll help me with my plan someday." With that he disappeared. I mumbled, "I would rather die you b*stard."
