If I had to give up my favorite pet, my chihuahua Jynx, I would give it to Jonathon. Because he's always nice and thoughtful, unlike most of the other main characters in the book. He always thinks about what's best for others even when it means pain for him. That's the best kind of person to take care of a pet. In my opinion, anyway.
