Welcome to the world of ninjas. Interested in joining? Make an OC that will attend the academy to become Genin and then will take the Chunins. Of course there are numerous missions to be assigned to in between!

So everyone is going to start out with 50 points.
For every post you will get 20 more.
For a contest winner there will be 100 points. If there is enough people, I'll do first, second (70), third place winners as well (60). For everyone else that didn't win, they will get 40 points for entering.
If anyone does a Story Thus Far, they will be given 100 points since I know how hard it is.
Contest
I will have two different contests as I know not everyone can draw or put their pictures up for whatever reason, so I'll do a writing and a drawing one.
Drawing
Draw your character. You can do whatever else you want to for the background, just as long as your character is the main focus. Just have fun with it, ok? You can dedicate it to me so that I can keep track of it easily. If you want, you can also post it here.
Writing
Write a short story about your character's past. This way, we will get a better sense of who they are. It doesn't matter how long or short it is, just long enough where we can get the full effect.
Deadline: October 1. I give you all over a month. That should be plenty of time to work around school and whatnot.

After a good while of everyone hanging out or sleeping,Iruka came in and started calling people to do a Clone jutsu.
i leaned on my hand as i watched Narumi and Miyako did perfect clones.
"Salvatore,your up." Iruka called me. i sighed and got up,placing my hands into my pockets as i went to the front of the room.
I stood there for a moment looking at everyone recalling how to do the clone jutsu and when it appeared inside my head i copied and made my clone. Iruka wrote something down and dismissed me back to my seat.
as i went back to my seat i stopped at Narumi's desk and whispered to her "good job" and the same to Miyako,but was unsure if they cared or were listening.
i than sat down and laid my head down covering my face with my hair so i could block out everyone else.

I notived Narumi giving me a small wave so I smiled politely and waved back at her. I sat alone, and so just randomly drew stuff on a page in my notebook.
Then finally class started; I watched as Narumi did her cloning technique, she was really good. I didn't know what technique I was going to do, I looked down on my desk hoping he wouldn't call out my name.
"Miyako," Iruka called out. Damn, I thought. I got up nervously, and walked to the front of the class. I stood there shaking, and I could hear whispers, "Is she okay?" No, of course I wasn't okay.
Taking in a deep breath, I decided to do a cloning jutsu and made an exact clone of myself. I then took a seat and scribbled on my page again, wondering why I was so nervous.

I sighed and looked at the note posted on the kitchen table. They had said their mission would only take the weekend, but they weren’t back yet. I turned away, picked my bag up and onto my shoulder and started to walk to class. I passed a few people and tried to smile or say hi, but most didn’t hear me, or pretended not to hear me. I bit my lip and took a less populated road to school.
Once I was at the academy door I walked in and went to my seat, far enough back not to get noticed, and close to a window so I could look out of it. Only about four other students where there, either quietly chatting or doing something to entertain their selves. I stared out the window for a few more moments until I saw the familiar crowd of boys. It took me a while to figure out it was Narumi in the middle. Not long after that, it was Melodie. They had both used some kind of substitution and gotten away. I you could say I envied them a little at how popular they were, and it always made me laugh at how stupid some of the boys could be.
Sensei finally started class and a few students were late, but it wasn’t like it was rare…I looked back out the window, it was the same thing every day. Nothing seemed to change. I sighed. Hopefully it would change once I finally got my team and became a genin...

I packed my things calmly. Previously, I had risen slightly early from bed, ate a small breakfast, and gotten ready for the day. Mentally, I checked off items in the pouch. Kunai, other weapons, pencil and paper, the basics. Making her lunch, she left for school. Once in the class room, she sighed realizing how few students cared enough to get to class on time. Taking my usual seat, I pulled out pencil and paper. Chewing my eraser, I waited for doodle inspirations to come to mind. Nothing. So I just set my pencil onto my paper and let my hand start for me. After a few lines, I realized what I was drawing, and continued it. A cat. I always seemed to end up drawing those...
Putting the paper away, I watched students scramble frantically into class, half laughing at them, all freaking out about being tardy. If they really cared, though, they'd be watching the time.
