Clink!
I drew a ragged breath as the shuriken bounced back off the wooden target. “D-Dang it!” The shuriken never seem to stick in the target! Everyone knows that taijutsu is what I’m worst at, and even after practicing all night long, I still don’t feel any better about my skills! I’ll bet everyone will be watching to see me screw up this week at the genin exams!
Wait… genin exams happen at the academy… and classes start at… OH NO. Classes are about to begin! I’m gonna be late!
As soon as I got my things together, I took off for school. I didn’t stop for anything. Food, clean clothes, anything! I heard a few people call out to me as I sprinted on the academy grounds. “Hey Raijin! Where’s the fire?” “You’re not late again, are you Raijin?”
They can all chill out! I’ll have time to play with them once I slide into my first class and say… “I’M HERE!” My desk slid nearly a foot with the force I had behind it. Man, staying up all night to practice taijutsu… I’m gonna fall asleep in class for sure today!

Yay! First post is in! Here's wishing the best to everyone, and thanks again to Rain for letting me join ^^
The alarm of the clock beeped repeatedly until Miyako had slammed her hand on it, nearly breaking it. She got up, and looked at the time lazily. “urgh..” She grunted quietly, and got up.
After changing into a black singlet, denim cut offs and her favourite blue jacket, she ran downstairs, and took a piece of toast her bigger sister Hinata had made. “Morning Miyako,” Hinata greeted.
“Morning Hinata,” Miyako grinned, running to the door, but was interrupted by her sister.
“Wait, you should eat your breakfast-“ But before Hinata could even finish her sentence, Miyako had already ran out.
Miyako passed Ichiraku’s and then she skipped down to the academy. Taking a small break, she drank some of her water then walked into class. She took a seat next to someone, and looked down on the desk. She was shy when it came to meeting new people. But all she was focused on right now was becoming a genin.
I woke up with the morning sunlight streaming through the closed curtains. Stretching like a cat I slowly blinked away the sleepiness. Going over to my closet I chose to wear a white tank top under a black one with a white leather jacket, white jean shorts with fishnet leggings, and black flat boots. Grabbing my bag I went downstairs and into the living room.
My pet King Snake lay in his glass terrarium. “Good morning Hebi,” I smiled and lifted him out and placed him around my shoulders. Hebi’s head curled around and his tongue flicked in my ear. Stifling a giggle I placed him back in his terrarium. “I’ll get you some breakfast.”
After my breakfast and giving Hebi his I went out the door and headed to school. As my walk progressed, boys started surrounding me.
“Melodie, let me carry your bag.”
“Are you kidding? Melodie, let me carry you.”
Shaking my head, I went inside the Academy and opened my locker. By this time a throng of boys were watching as if they had never seen a girl open her locker before. Getting my books a guy grabbed them from my hands saying he would carry them for me.
I had a twinge of annoyance. “No thank you.” I took my books back and put them in my bag while the boy looked like he would faint just from my talking to him.
Ignoring similar requests I noticed Narumi Uchiha out of the corner of my eye as she made a clone of herself and disappeared down a hallway. Smiling slyly to myself I waited for the precise moment to arrive. Eventually, it did; a crowd of students was surging down the hall, approaching me and my band of fan boys. Doing a few hand signs behind my back I created a clone of myself and vanished into the crowd. The boys followed my clone as she went to the girl’s bathroom. Don’t call it copying; I used that tactic a week ago and apparently she took a leaf out of my book.
It’s always like this you know, every day. Girls always say they want to be me; but give them one day in my shoes, just one, and if there was anyone they wanted to be, it would never be Melodie Himitsu.

I was awakened by a bird chirping on my Window.I throw the covers off and jumped out of bed.
Looking in a Mirror at my hair,"Whoa!major bed head.",i shock my hair into place and ran a brush through it.
I went to my closet and got my shirt and pants,and all of my other pieces of cloths I wear.
Going down the stairs,jumping over the rail into the kitchen,i prepared my breakfast.Which was simple,Toast and Milk.I also feed our pet cat,Yuu,his breakfast.
I then went to check on my Mother,still sleeping peacefully. I started up her breakfast and left her a note saying "I'm going to school now! love you."
I ran out the Door with my bang in hand and toast in my mouth.
While Running and eating,i waved at the Villagers.Occasionally saying Good Morning to them.
When I made it to the school,i was surrounded by some of the girls from different classes.Chatting with them for awhile,i then ditched them trying to get to class.
I finally made it to my class,Avoiding as many girls as I could. i sat at my desk,talking to some of my class mates.
I started thinking,"Can we get this test over with now?"
Bathed in sunlight, I relished the warmth that radiated over my face. Stretching my arms, I delayed getting up. After much convincing, I rose from the bed and dressed myself for the day.
