I sighed in relief that I hadn’t been picked to go yet. It wasn’t like I couldn’t do it.. I mean, I could… Just not well… Great. I walked slowly as everyone pushed their way out to go and eat lunch with there friends. I waited until it was almost empty and went to talk to Iruka. He looked up, not very surprised to see me. “U-umm Sensei..” He shook his head, “No, we’ve been over this, Kyoka. I can’t just keep letting you do your tests in private. What are you so afraid of anyway?” I didn’t answer. “Even if you did mess up, it couldn’t be worse than Raijin’s right?” he said and I tried to smile. “..Alright… I guess…” I bowed and quickly grabbed my lunch and ran out of the room.

Stupid, stupid, stupid! GAH! Kyoka! You’re so very stupid! I huffed as I squinted agents the sun light. I looked around to see if there was anyone I could sit by and eat lunch with, but most of them seemed occupied and I felt that I might just be in the way if I sat down with them. I kept skimming the people before I saw the familiar crowd of boys with Narumi in the middle. At that moment she looked up and waved to me before running over to me.. With the group of boys following… “Hay, Kyoka! I need to talk to you…” she looked back at the boys, “Umm.. In private?” she said and shooed them away while they “awww”ed and groaned. I couldn’t help but smile at that..

She sighed. “Finally they’re gone!” Narumi said and sat down. I nodded and looked around. I knew she didn’t have to say anything to me, that she just wanted them to leave her alone. “umm.. Narumi?” she looked up from where she sat peacefully, but gracefully. “Yeah?” I looked back at the group of boys that hovered practically a few feet way. “Did you want me to go?” she shook her head and patted the ground, “Come, just relax and sit down. It’s annoying having to be around them all day.” I nodded and smiled that Narumi was being nice to me. ME! I mean.. She was nice to everyone… We had just never really talked before this too much.. Oh… That’s right.. “Narumi, y-you did great in class today..” I said and smiled at her.
