Do you notice anything...different...on theOtaku today?
My goal for this coming week is to OBSESS about theOtaku's speed.
I'll keep you all updated on my progress as I run cool experiments and the like.
We're running some slightly unattractive ads on theO and will probably keep them up for a long time moving forward. Need to weather the storm
(We'll have some beautiful FUNi campaigns starting in March though.)
I saw Utada "Effin" Hikaru the other day in concert, it was wonderful.
Google cluttered my Gmail with their silly "Buzz" service - I'm trying to get rid of clutter in life not increase it. Instant deactivation (there's a link all the way at the bottom of your Gmail to do it).

2010 has been a tough year (to say the least) in terms of ad sales.
I tried to run a new ad but it didn't go over so well
Dark times these are.
The last week, every single day, any time I logged into my email I unsubscribed from all newsletters I received.
I'm now unsubscribed from about 95% of them though a few new ones do trickle in once in a while.
WOW, it makes a huge difference.
It's the best feeling in the world logging into your email and not seeing a ton of clutter that's all vying for your attention.
This is an exercise I highly recommend.
