Chrono Trigger

Even though I can play Fallout 3 and Mirror's Edge on Xbox, I find myself playing a 10+ year old game: Chrono Trigger on the DS

It's simply amazing to me that it's been 10 years since I first bought it and I haven't yet played a JRPG I've liked better. And it's not the nostalgia talking, I'm having a blast re-playing it again.

CT just did so many things well: The pacing, the quirkly little touches, the random battles, I don't know whether I'll ever see a game at its level again.

Random Notes

-- I'm really digging the new backroom and am happy with theO news so far.

-- I'm spending most of my time on creating my video game. It's a lot of work.

-- LOL. This fan word on how to write a comment is getting some traffic from google, for people typing "how to write a comment" - I bet most of them are really old folks who aren't very tech savvy...

Sexiest Song Ever

I'm not Indian and don't know anything about this other than it's the sexiest song ever made.

If you're trying to find a loved one this holiday season to call your own, send them this song and they'll be yours IMMEDIATELY.

Motion Sickness

-- I'm investigating what's wrong with the server that we've been having on and off downtime.

-- Mirror's Edge has given me motion sickness, it's a great game, though. I think I just way over-played it today.

-- Feeling kind of down and this economy is really stressful :-(

Happy Thanksgiving!

I really like my mom's mashed potatoes, it's much better than the ones I have in NYC.

Well, I did it. I finished watching Death Note, all 37 episodes.

I liked the ending but really think everything could've been wrapped up neatly with only 26 episodes. The last 11 seemed tacked on to simply make more money.

Imagine if Cowboy Bebop, rather than have Spike and Vicious face-off, had Spike kill Vicious, who we invested so much into, then had the show go on for 10 more episodes and a random new villain appeared and took out Spike.

Happy Thanksgiving!
