Michiyo (aka Measles) drew this fan art of me tonight:
Very nice.
I'm thinking of making a new WORLD where I write more professionally-oriented things, for example articles similar to those found in my book, Artpreneurship, as opposed to personal posts. I just have a lot to say in general.
The only thing is that I don't have the time to build an audience for it, so I might prefer writing for someone else, but the problem with that is there's no one site I love enough that I'm really interested in contributing to...
Maybe I can make it so that the world has its own .com name, that might be a premium feature some could use too...
Hm...maybe I could tie the WORLD to a small newsletter for the few hundred people who'd be interested in professional posts. We'll see...
-- I'm playing Lost Odyssey these days. It's an RPG by one of the main creators of Final Fantasy who went off and started his own company. I love all stories involving entrepreneurs. The game is really badass with a heavy emphasis on story (I'm not far enough to have experienced much game play yet).
-- It looks like I might be going to Portland, Oregon for one week. Hopefully I'll get a chance to see Cassie, our survival guide princess. Did you know that Oregon doesn't charge sales tax?
-- The video game I'm working on is still in its very, very early phases. It might be a year until its release, depending on how things go.
-- Heroes is a badass show. It's nowhere near as good as it was first season, but it's still fun and worth watching, even if they did kill one of my favorite characters.
I was at one of my good friend's weddings yesterday and I was the one who caught the garter belt thrown at the end
Uh oh...let's just hope that Mrs. Bossman doesn't mess anything up here when she arrives
BTW, I have a photo of Ramen doing an amazing Orochimaru impression but she's not letting me post it. I encourage you all to bug her until she gives the OK.
I'm excited to see the entries for our Halloween contest. Thanks to SG for coming up with the idea and posting it
I completed Call of Duty 4 yesterday, I only wish the game was longer, which I guess is a high compliment to pay a title. It reminded me in many ways of Resident Evil 4. I'd give it a solid 9/10, would be a 10/10 if it was longer and if I didn't die so much in multiplayer.
My new game is BRAID, which is an indie game. Love the art direction. Concept is very tricky, puzzles border on impossible sometimes. I'm not much a puzzle gamer but I'm impressed by the game, which was mostly made by only one person.
Toys R Us is having a buy 2 get 1 free sale, so if you want to buy video games now's your best chance...
QUESTION: If you suddenly became the new Bossman of theOtaku, what would be your first subtraction/addition/change/etc.?
