Japanese Food recipe

GYOZA:
Ok get ready because your about to make "Gyoza"!!! its a type of dumpling and origainally a chinese dish but popular in japan and when i first had it it was the best dumplings i ever had!!!!!!!!

Ingredients:

  • Dough
    170mL of water
    200g strong flower

  • Filling
    200g grond pork
    Cabbage
    Nira( can be substitued by leek or green onion)
    Garlic
    Ginger
    Sake
    Soy sause,salt,and pepper
    Sesame oil

  • Dipping sause
    Soy sause
    Vineger
    Try going to an orental store to find the ingredents with no trouble what so ever in America.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Preparations:

  • Dough:

    Step1:Mix the water into the flour to a dough that should not be sticky but soft.

    Step2:Put a wet towel over it and let it stay there for several minutes.

    Step3:Seperate the dough in 30 peices, and form each of them into thin discs with a diameter of 10cm. The middleshould be a little thicker than the edge.

  • Filling

    Step4:Cut some green,outer cabbage leaves,green onion (or leek) nira,ginger,and garlic in very small peices.The amonunt of these ingredients should equal the same amount of meat.Do it as you like.

    Step5:Put some salt on the cabbage and let it stand there for 5 minutes. Then press the water out if the cabbage peices.

    Step6:Add all of what you just cut up and mix it with the pork altogether, and add salt, pepper, soy sause, sake, and sesame oil.Mix well!!!!

    Making&Frying

    Step7:Put some filling onto the piece of dough, make suuer its all equal for all 30 pieces.

    Step8:Moisten the edge in a semi circle not all the way.

    Step9:Fold the edge for 6 min

    Step10:Put the gyoza on the table

    Step11:Fry it until the bottom is brown and add water for it to boil with about half of the gyoza's height.

    Step12:Heat it up until the water completly vaporzed.Then remove it from the heat.

    Step13:Mix vineigar and soy sause togethe for dipping sause and your ready to eat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
