Good News: My dog likes the new puppy. The new puppy loves my dog.
Bad News: My dog, Joku, is a possessive bastard, and flips out whenever the pup is near his toys and food. So, we're going to socialize them better tomorrow- but for now, they'll sleep in different rooms.
Good News: My new dog loves the cat.
Bad News: My cat despises the new dog, and when he ran out and met the dog by accident (had him in the room before, separate from the pup) Alastor (my cat), flipped out and I tried to grab him and calm him. Terrible idea.
Good News: I have plenty of bandages and antiseptic, so I'll put them on when the bleeding stops.
Bad News: It'll be hell getting all of them to love each other.
Good News: I won't need any stitches. Woo-dee-freakin'-doo.
Moral of the story?
Fuck cats, dogs are better.
