Pure Salvation

After a few hours, Puppet's heart managed to started beating again... Inu was beside her, looking down at her, Pein never did go and get the blood... so Puppet still was insanely weak.

"Puppet!" Inu proclaimed as she opened her eyes.

Puppet smiled weakly and coughed more. Inu quickly shover her wrist in Puppet's face, "Drink." She said coldly.

"Inu... I... I can't..." She rejected, flipping over onto her side, bleeding more.

She heard the unseathing of a knife and the cut of flesh, little crimson droplets splattered on the floor, and the smell made the demon roar.

Puppet turned to look at Inu and she had already angled her wrist perfectly so the blood dripped into her mouth.

"You can, and you will."

As the few drops entered her body, she was suddenly freed of the pain, and her wounds began to heal.

Refusing anymore blood, she sat up. "Thank you Inu..."

"Don't you need more...?"

"This little bit will last until I can get my own source. Maybe I'll bite Saint..." She sighed, removing her bandages.

The hole was still there, and it was slowly healing. Inu gasped at the sight.

"Sorry..." She continued to change her own bandages, giving her back to Inu.

"I'm going to go tell Pein you've improved..."

"Farewell Inu..." With that, she was gone.

That same damned little creature was sitting at the windowsill again.

"What do you want." She sneered.

The little thing giggled, "I wanted to see how you were doing! You look better!"

"After that beam was removed? I only got worse."

"If only you'd stayed with us... you wouldn't have to worry about pain..."

Awareness sparked in Puppet, "Where was I?!"

"Now that you'll have to just remember now won't you?" The creature then disappeared.

Puppet realized that if she wanted these memories to stop, she was going to either have to uncover them all, or make another deal with Hell. The first deal was pretty gruesome... so she guessed she was going to have to play nice with the little furball.

Pein walked in at that moment, seeing Puppet was better, he sighed in relief. She turned to him and smiled, one eye green one eye purple. "Puppet? What's up with your eyes?"

"What do you mean?" She was confused.

"One is purple... one is green..." He stated.

It seemed Puppet was changing... to what... she did not know. The demon roared in anger, as she went back to sleep.
