leaving on my mission

Walking into my room I looked at the ninja gear I had taken with when I fled from my clan's traditional home. I reached into my clock and pulled out a blue rose necklace. Jay I will find you, the thought ran through my head. Pushing the thought away I picked up the katana Kodi had always used. My brother and best friend, where were they now. I pushed that thought away, too. Grabbing the summing scrolls that held the puppets I now used as weapons. Even with all the new techniques I had learned I still couldn't let my past go. I couldn't even tell you Jay's real name, I only remembered he had shortened it and called himself after the jay-bird. He had given me that necklace the day before our clan was attacked. Kodi was short for Kodiak a name from some time in the clan's history. I had found the katana when I had went back to our small village to find them. All of that had been caused by the thing our clan had been chosen to protect. Perhaps that object was still safe, after all only our clan's bloodline limit could open the door to it. Now that I thought of it that object had a lot of power, perhaps I'd tell Pein about it when I returned. I sighed and headed to meat Chee.
